Martin David Kiar is a Strong Advocate Will continue to fight for better and affordable homeowner's insurance and lower property taxes - Voted to lower your insurance rates and voted overwhelmingly to reduce your property taxes, including voting for a tax reduction of 15 billion dollars Will continue to fight for the protection of the natural environment and the protection of the Everglades - Fought to fully fund the Everglades Restoration Act

Strong advocate for less crowded public schools and better educational opportunities for all children - Led the fight to save our children's summer vacations by defeating a bill that would have allowed school boards to start school earlier in the summer - Fought to increase teachers' salaries - Fought to reduce class sizes by supporting the full funding of the Class Size Amendment - Fought to reform and do away with the FCAT

Will continue to fight for affordable health insurance for all Florida residents - I co-sponsored a bill that will provide mandatory affordable health insurance to children inflicted with Autism and I voted for and helped pass sweeping legislation that will provide affordable health insurance to our Florida residents
